These are decorative bookends or corners. They are not meant to hold up many books on their own. On a bookshelf with side walls, you can wedge these between the books and the side wall. On open shelving, you can display them with a few of your favorite books. You can also set these decorative corners on windowsills, fireplace mantels, or any place you want some extra decor.

These corners will arrive unassembled, this allows for safer shipping and easier cleaning. All you have to do is place the glass corner into the groove of the wood base. If you do not want them removable, feel free to glue them into the groove with a heavy duty glue or clear silicone.

**This item contains lead. The wax finishing seals the lead and creates a protective barrier to slow down corrosion/oxidation. You should periodically rewax/buff stained glass suncatchers. Lead can be harmful only if ingested - keep out of reach of children (who tend to put things in their mouths), and wash hands after handling.**
